We're still a Canterbury based brand with bakeries located in Christchurch, Methven and Ashburton serving local markets from Mid Canterbury and surrounding area. This company started in early 2014s and growing as people love what they get here. Our mission is to nurture, support and serve New Zealand with our business. This company strive for quality and productivity in everything; keeping this vision in mind we execute each task with precisions and excellence.

  • Pane di casa loaf

    Oh, how to describe this bread! Okay, let me start with this, it tastes like Ciabatta but denser. Very Italian indeed ! Try to dip it in your herb-y tomato soup but don't forget to toast it! Yum! Perfect for winter..

  • Sourdough

    Sourdough is a bread made from the natural occurring yeast and bacteria in flour. In traditional sourdough recipes, you'll find three ingredients: sourdough starter (which consists of flour and water), salt and flour. There is no yeast, no milk, no oils and no sweeteners. It’s about as natural as you get when it comes to bread.

  • White loaf

    Nothing beats a flavorful white loaf for you white loaf junkie! Most of our customers come back to us after trying this freshly cut and crunchy loaf. Try to use this loaf as a french toast, and drizzle some maple syrup or honey. It will blow your mind away!

  • White cob

    White Cob Loaf is preservative free, made by hand good for vegan .The bread in this instance is a cob loaf, a small round white loaf that is easy to prepare and is the ideal shape to hold a dip. The best part about these dishes is that all the bread, from the soft insides to the outside crust, becomes part of the dish, being ripped up and eaten along with the dip.Perfect to slice up and share, or hollow out and fill with soup or dips for the centre of the dinner table

  • Tomato, Bacon, and Garlic Mayo Sandwich

    1. Cook the bacon in batches in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp, 12 to 15 minutes.
    2. Combine the yogurt, oregano, garlic, and ¼ teaspoon salt in a small bowl.
    3. Divide the bacon, garlic mayonnaise, tomatoes, avocado, and lettuce leaves among the bread.
    Ingredients :
    1. 8 slices bacon, ⅓ cup plain Greek yogurt, 1 tablespoon chopped oregano 1 small clove garlic, minced, kosher salt, 2 beefsteak tomatoes, sliced 1 avocado, sliced, lettuce leaves, 8 slices of white bread from la wheat ( toast slice )

  • Smoked Salmon Salad Sandwich

    1. Heat oven to 450° F. Roast the salmon fillet on a rimmed baking sheet until cooked through, 6 to 8 minutes; let cool, then flake.
    2. Combine the smoked salmon, mayonnaise, celery, chives, capers, lemon zest, flaked salmon, and ¼ teaspoon pepper in a medium bowl.
    3. Divide the salmon salad and lettuce leaves among the bread.
    Ingredients :
    225g skinless salmon fillet, 170g smoked salmon, chopped, ⅓ cup mayonnaise, ⅓ cup chopped celery, 1 tablespoon chopped chives, 1 tablespoon chopped capers, 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest, black pepper, lettuce leaves, 8 slices of wholemeal or whole seed bread from la wheat (sandwich slice)

  • Eggplant With Peppers and Beans Sandwich

    1. Heat oven to 400° F. Place the eggplant on 2 rimmed baking sheets and brush with ¼ cup of the oil. Season with the cayenne and ¼ teaspoon salt and bake, turning once, until tender, 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool.
    2. Meanwhile, mash the beans, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, the remaining tablespoon of oil, ¼ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon black pepper in a small bowl.
    3. Divide the mashed beans, eggplant, red peppers, and romaine leaves among the bread.
    Ingredients :
    1 eggplant, cut into 1/4-inch slices, ¼ cup plus 1 tablespoon olive oil, ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper, kosher salt and black pepper, 1 cup cannellini beans, rinsed, 1clove clove garlic, chopped, 1 tablespoon tahini, 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, ½ cup sliced roasted red peppers, romaine leaves, 8 slices turkish bread from la wheat ( cut into halves )

  • Egg, Frisée, and Caramelized Onion Sandwich

    1. Heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and ¼ teaspoon each salt and pepper and cook, stirring often, until golden, 15 to 18 minutes. Transfer to a plate; reserve the skillet.
    2. Add the eggs to the skillet and cook, covered, 2 to 4 minutes for slightly runny yolks. Season with ¼ teaspoon each salt and pepper.
    3. Divide the onion, fig jam, frisée leaves, and eggs among the brioche rolls.
    Ingredients :
    2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 medium onion, sliced, kosher salt and black pepper, 4 large eggs, 2 tablespoons fig or blackberry jam, frisée leaves, 4 white bread rolls from la wheat ( split and toasted )
